PUBG Clip Bot is a desktop tool for capturing, editing, and publishing gameplay clips. This policy explains how the app and its account service handle information.
Information we handle
- Account information: email address, password hash, session and device records, and subscription status. Payment checkout and billing are handled by Stripe when a paid feature is purchased; we store Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, not full card numbers.
- Connected accounts: when you choose to connect a platform, we receive the account identifier and display name plus authorization tokens for the permissions shown in that platform's consent screen. Tokens are stored encrypted on the account service. You can disconnect an account in the app.
- Publishing: when you choose to publish a clip, the selected video and the post details you enter are sent to the destination platform. A connected account alone does not publish content.
- Local media and preferences: clips, exports, captions, thumbnails, and app settings are stored on your computer. Some optional features may send media to an external service when you invoke them; the app should identify that service before transfer.
- PUBG and Twitch data: if you use those features, the app or service requests the game or creator information needed to show the feature.
Why we use it
We use account and connected-platform information to provide the service you request (contract), protect accounts and prevent misuse (legitimate interests), and keep records needed for legal obligations. We send a selected clip to a platform only when you choose to publish it. Where a feature asks for separate consent, you can withdraw it through the feature or by contacting us.
Who receives it
The platforms you select receive content and metadata you publish. TikTok receives the permissions and content involved in a TikTok connection and post. Stripe receives payment information during checkout. Hosting providers process service data on our behalf. Optional AI or media services receive only the inputs you choose to send through their features. These providers may process information outside the UK under their own privacy terms and applicable transfer safeguards.
Storage and control
The desktop keeps local project data on your computer. The account service stores account, session, subscription, and encrypted connected-account records. Disconnecting a social account removes its stored connection from our service; you may also revoke access in the platform's own settings. To request access, correction, or deletion of service account information, email effectz@yahoo.com. We handle account-deletion requests manually after verifying the request. We may need to retain limited records where required for security, billing, or law.
Security and retention
Passwords are stored as salted hashes, and connected-account tokens are encrypted on the service. No system is perfectly secure. Account and connected-account records are kept while the account or connection is active. After closure or disconnection, we delete records no longer needed to provide the service, while retaining any records needed for billing, security, disputes, or legal obligations for as long as those purposes require. Local media remains on your device until you remove it.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct, erase, restrict, or transfer your personal information, or object to its use. Email effectz@yahoo.com to make a request. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Children and changes
The service is not intended for children below the minimum age required by the connected platforms. We may update this policy and will post the revised version with its effective date at the same public URL.
